Oh my word! I just CANNOT believe that this little one is almost a year old!
She is that light of both Kaleb and my life and keeps us on our toes! As you can see by these pictures, she is a busy one that does NOT like to sit still!
We didn't get a very good shot, but after a 1/2 hour of trying Kaleb and Gracie were both done!
Gracie is officially a walker! She has been taking little steps for about a month and a half, but she is now full on toddling around the house! This means she can and will get her hands on anything that is left within her reach! She loves to get Mom's phone and babble into it. I think this comes from me talking on speaker instead of putting it up to my ear:)
One of Gracie's new found loves is her dolls. She likes to drag them around, but most of all she likes to give them hugs and kisses!
While Dad is away at work we have to stay busy. Here are a few of Gracie's favorite things to do to pass the time during the days.
Empty the dishwasher
Empty drawers
Go to the bathroom
Check out the window for dogs, kids, and cars
And drink LOTS of water
I keep telling Kaleb every month that Gracie is in my new favorite stage, I think I will be saying that for the rest of her life! However, this really has been my favorite stage so far! She babbles to me like she knows exactly what she is saying, she waves and can communicate without talking pretty darn well! She is sleeping through the night and trying new foods. She is a people person and loves to go anywhere where there are people to watch.
It is amazing to me how much she has learned in 11 months. She knows that cups are for drinking, how to go down the stairs, how to "brush" her hair with a comb, she can give kisses, wave, and understands what NO means!
I love watching Kaleb and Gracie interact, it is so cute! She loves when Dad comes home every day and loves when he plays the binki game with her:)
We also discovered this month what a little fish Gracie is! She LOVES the water! We have taken her to the splash pad and Provo pool a few times and she just can't get enough!
We can't wait to see what new things she will be doing next month!
