Written May 18.
My life the last few (5) have passed in a blur of sleeplessness. Having a new baby in the house has been an adjustment for sure! We LOVE Tyce, but man new babies are hard!!! I am going to go back and catch up from where I left off so that I can still count this as our family journal.
In early October I planned a get away for Kaleb and I as a birthday present for me (yes I plan things for my own birthday!), and an early anniversary trip since we knew we wouldn't be doing much on our actual anniversary. We left Gracie with my Mom and Dad while we went to Heber and went bowling, to dinner, and shopping. It was our first time leaving Gracie over night and it was hard for me!
October is one on my favorite months of the year for many reasons, its my birthday (of course!), the weather is cooling down, the leaves are beautiful, and I love all things pumpkin! Gracie was a ghost for Halloween and I think she was the cutest pumpkin EVER! She didn't really understand the concept of trick or treating. All she cared about was the suckers!
In early October we got Gracie's pictures done. She is BEAUTIFUL!
The rest of the year was spent in preparation for new baby. We loved getting to spend Thanksgiving with family!
Christmas preparations were so fun this year because Gracie was much more interactive and loved the hupla of decorations and music and lights. Next year will be that much more fun with 2 kids!
