It's official, I am the Mommy of a 1 year old!!! Oh how the time has flown! I can't believe how much she has grown and learned in just a year, it's amazing! It has been so fun to watch her personality come out, and man is she a sassy one!! She has a mind of her own and she gets what she wants 99% of the time because she is SO persistent! Although she is sassy, she is also very sweet! She loves giving hugs and kisses and is our dainty little princess!
For her birthday we did a little photo shoot about a week before so we could get some cute shots of just her with her smash cake. Here are a few of my favorites.
She did not dig in like I expected her to. I don't give her tons of sugar so I thought she would go wild, but not so much! I had to help her take a few bites and she kinda caught on, but I don't think she liked the frosting on her fingers. I told you she is dainty!
For her party we decided to do a little get together with friends and family in our back yard. It has been so hot, so we were a little nervous to do it outside, but it turned out great! People were so great and made Kaleb, Gracie and I feel so loved! We had such a great time celebrating Gracie's big day surrounded by people who love our little Gracie!
Gracie was really confused with present opening and couldn't understand why I kept taking away things that she wanted to play with! She was surrounded by cousins and neighbor kids as she opened everything and was loving all the attention.
I think singing her happy birthday and watching her try to eat her smash cake again was my favorite part of the party. Gracie LOVES attention and everyone was watching and clapping for her, she was thrilled!
It was such a fun day! Gracie may not remember it, but I always will!
